Tomorrow will be held in Madrid the second edition of Vogue's Fashion's Night Out, a global event that brig us the consumer culture and luxury and proposes attractive ways to encourage the purchase , but also enjoy the window shopping in a different way.
I am in, of course. I've got my ticket and I called a pal to go with me and have the plasure of feeling garments by Chanel, Dior and Missoni, for starters. From eight o'clock P.M. until midnight, Sara and I will visit the boutiques of Serrano, Ortega y Gasset, Lagasca, Velazquez and Goya, among others, both of us up in our heels and ready to thrill with these designs that, by now, we can not cherish in our closets. The window shopping has always been my favorite sport and the FNO will place me across the glass, with the right to look, touch and try on!.
I have traced my itinerary, including stops in Amaya Urzuaga, BCBG Maxazria, and Burberry , where one of his iconic trenchs will be raffle!. Can You imagine that I win?!, I don't, but I do not care, it will be exciting believing I have any chance. And in all these establishments we will enjoy discounts and special offers, catering, "champagne", live music, dj's, gifts and "goodie bags".
A global celebration of fashion that allows the middle class into Carrie Bradshaw and co.'s world., but without slipping on the Dior's floor, I hope not!. ;P
Anyway, not everything will be fallling rendered to a meaningless waste , the ones that may do, of course. Vogue has released for sale the Pack Vogue's Fashion Night Out, which includes the October issue, a commemorative T-shirt, a bag and a set of pins, all for 20 €. The money collected will be assign to Aldeas Infantiles. Again, fashion for charity, not to say that fashion is superficial, empty and elitist ... or at least it won't be for one day.
Ah! I am taking the camera with me.... do you smell gossip???
